2024 marks 30 years behind the camera for Victor Sanabrais Photographer,. Over this time period, Victor has amassed an extensive portfolio of fashion brand campaigns, commercial advertisements, super models and celebrities.. Below is a small collection of his work and some of the stories behind the images.
Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Victor perfected his craft and moved downtown to the West Loop area of the city, and opened his first studio in '95. It was there that he was discovered by the editors of Playboy's Newsstand Specials Publications and given his first break into becoming a recognized professional. Soon after, Victor began to expand his portfolio in the LA, and NYC fashion markets, specializing in intimate apparel, swimwear, and eyewear fashion advertising. Over the years, Victor has partnered with studios in Hong Kong, Moscow, Hamburg, NYC, and LA. Victor currently owns VSP Studios with his wife Elena in Miami, which has quickly become one of the top e-commerce fashion content creation studios in the industry. The images and videos Victor creates are used by fashion brands from all over the world to market their apparel collections online.
“From a very young age I always had an interest in photography, but never imagined that I would do it for a living. When it came time to find a career, it was clear that photography would become my passion. I am truly blessed to wake up each day, put a camera in my hand and do what I love to do.”

I took this photo above after I had been on the road, living out of a suitcase for 2 years. I unpacked my gear and realized that my entire life portfolio sat there before me as DVDs, film roles, and various hard drives. I pondered this fragile existence and decided my next best move was to back up the drives in this new technology called could storage. Made my camera bag weight abbot 20 pounds lighter. Of course, I left soon after to embark on another 2 year world tour. Ask me if it was worth it, One day I will have to go through my old hard drives and showcase some of my travel images. Time of your life kid!
Victor’s career behind the lens spans over 25 years, photographing some of the most celebrated names in the industry including Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, Anna Nicole Smith, Mickey Rourke, Slash, Christina Aguilera, Joanna Krupa, Victoria Silvstedt, Jenny McCarthy, and many more.
In 2010 and 2011, Victor conducted a North American Model Search to find the new face of the Playboy Intimates Collection.
2012, Victor joined the panel of the judges for Season 3 of Russia's Next Top Model TV Show, filmed in Miami, photographing the contestants as part of their weekly challenges.
In 2021 Victor appeared on the MTV reality show Siesta Key, and photographed the cast members for a new swimwear brand JMP The Label.
While working in LA, Victor had the honor of being selected as one of the only photographers allowed to attend the private parties held at the Beverly Hills Friars Club. His collection of images showcase some of the all time greats from the golden era of Hollywood. Red Buttons, Phyllis Diller, Milton Berle, Don Rickles, Carl Reiner, and more.
